That's when they decided to reach out to IIH Global, a web design and software development firm that specialises in developing custom solutions for a variety of sectors. IIH Global listened to their requirements and presented a two-phase solution to transform their operations.
Phase 1: Development of a custom CRM and mobile app for vehicle management.
The initial phase was to create a unique CRM system that would allow PPC Windows to track and manage their vehicles, drivers, and clients. The CRM would safeguard all important data in a cloud database and give an easy-to-use interface for administrative staff.
In addition, IIH Global developed a mobile app allowing drivers to register their vehicle usage, distance, fuel consumption, and any faults or problems they encountered. The software would also deliver push notifications to remind drivers to fill out their van's details at the start of each day.
The CRM and the mobile app would connect via an API, ensuring that the data was synchronised and updated in real-time. The admin team may then monitor the status of each vehicle and driver and provide reports and analytics on their performance.
Phase 1 Result
- Improved efficiency and accuracy: The drivers no longer had to fill out paper forms or enter data manually. The CRM and the app automated the process and minimised human errors.
- Enhanced visibility and accountability: The admin staff could see where each driver was, how much they drove, how much fuel they used, and what problems they reported. They could also assign tasks, send messages, and provide feedback to the drivers via the CRM.
- Reduced costs and risks: The CRM and the app helped PPC Windows optimize their fuel consumption, prevent vehicle breakdowns, and comply with safety regulations. They also reduced the paper waste and storage costs associated with the old system.
