We are seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in streamlining and automating processes, managing infrastructure, and ensuring the reliable operation of our applications and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Support the creation, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve system reliability and scalability.
- Monitor system performance, and collaborate on the configuration and management of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth code deployments and integrations.
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure-related issues.
- Work with version control systems like Git, GitHub, and GitLab.
- Assist in ensuring security best practices in infrastructure management and deployment.
- Contribute to maintaining up-to-date documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes.
Required Skills:
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Systems Engineering, or related technical field.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficient in scripting (Bash, Python, etc.) for automation tasks.
- Strong knowledge of version control systems (Git).
- Exposure to configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef is a plus.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, or Grafana is a plus.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet objectives.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications related to DevOps or Cloud (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
